LONDON FILM FESTIVAL: October 2 through October 13, 2019
BFI London Film Festival 2019 will present over 200 films from some of the world’s great filmmakers and emerging talent – in a celebration of the diverse landscape of international cinema. As Britain hosts one of the world’s great film festivals, audiences gather to see future awards contenders and other great films. The festival welcomes an impressive line-up of filmmaking talent and a program supporting a broad range of voices from around the globe, with 78 countries represented, and 40% of all films directed or co-directed by women.

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL: September 5 through September 15, 2019
Festival season gains momentum in September with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). What began in 1976 as a "festival of festivals" – a collection of films from other festivals – has become an influential industry event in its own right. Technicolor’s MR. X is a sponsor of this year's festival, and Technicolor Toronto will also have a presence at the event, including Technical Operations Manager Brian Reid joining cinematographer Catherine Lutes and other guests for the FOUNDATIONS session Cinematography Workflows on the Big and Small Screens (Sept. 7, 2:00 - 3:00 pm).
Additionally, Technicolor and its brands were honored to work on the following films showing at TIFF 2019:
Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band
Opening Night Film. In this feature documentary, director Daniel Roher follows Robertson from his early life in Toronto to the creation of the legendary roots-rock group The Band. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Brian Grazer, and Ron Howard.

VENICE FILM FESTIVAL: August 28 through September 7, 2019
At 76, the Venice Film Festival is the oldest film festival in the world – and still one of the most prestigious, often the first stop toward Academy Award recognition. Last year’s Golden Lion Award, the festival’s highest honor, went to Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma, which went on to receive ten Oscar nominations and three wins. Among the highly anticipated features in competition this year are James Gray’s space epic Ad Astra, starring Brad Pitt, with VFX by Technicolor’s MPC Film and MR. X; and Robert Guédiguian’s family drama Gloria Mundi, with VFX and Post-Production by Technicolor’s Mikros.
